Nielsen is looking for a Senior Java Flex Developer to join the Innovation Delivery Organization (IDO). As a part of the IDO team you will be an integral part of a high energy team that is revolutionizing the way that Nielsen delivers value to both its customers and to Nielsen.

Requirements |
This position requires an enthusiastic and driven person that has extensive ActionScript programming and Adobe Flex experience, including developing Rich Internet Application (RIA) solutions on a Flash platform for large commercial clients. This person will need to design and develop the user interface components leveraging Adobe Flex 3.0 technology. Be able to work closely with business stakeholders to develop the UI components using concepts such as JAD sessions and daily scrum meetings.
Required:
* 2-3 yrs of Flex User Experience (UX) design and development
* 2-3 yrs of extended experience with development of UI components leveraging MXML and ActionScript 3.0 programming
* 2-3 yrs of extended experience working closely with end users and different stakeholders to prioritize and develop the appropriate UI toolkit model.
* 2-3 yrs of extended experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript JSP programming, STRUTS, and other key UI technologies
* 2-3 yrs of extended experience with Flex Builder IDE or plug-in on Eclipse platform
* 2-3 yrs of other technologist and software engineers in building mission critical solutions
* 2-3 yrs of independently research and provide alternative analysis and recommendations in terms of UI components.
* 2-3 yrs of the Flex data modeling and integration with remote services such as Blaze DS
* 2-3 yrs of J2SE development with excellent knowledge of the Java 1.6 language/platform.
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
