Report: Development Manager, Web Applications Group
Summary of Position:
¿Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and integrates code for Web Applications and Web Services; may work on large, complex projects.
¿Defines technical scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
¿Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
¿Completes all technical development tasks pertaining to applications per approved projects and allocated budgets.
¿Interfaces extensively with Architecture team to determine applicability of design alternatives; identifies and recommends cost effective options to meet user needs.
¿Interfaces as necessary with all critical integration points to insure that applications are integrating successfully and efficiently with all requested applications.
¿Conducts necessary unit testing to insure that code is of high quality.
¿Adheres to all development policies, procedures and standards.
¿Maps workflow and creates design specifications based on functional requirements.

Requirements |
Qualifications:
Requires BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline
5-8 years of experience minimum
Experience with Infravio and Blaze rules engine is required.
Relevant vendor/professional certifications a plus
Experience in Web Methods 6.5 and above including BPMS, CAF and Workflow would be a plus
Must be Java proficient
Experience with designing, programming, and integration of various back office systems; Experience in SQL Server and Oracle
Accomplished verbal and written communication skills.
